Let me be the first to tell you how floored I am! Your work is spectacular.
If you decide to do limited production work, you can have your drawings
silkscreened into decals, (a la Laura Zindel.)

Your illustrations are delightful and the forms and scale of the work all
seem to compliment each other. I love your palette, which works in relation
to your drawings. Your glaze compliments, rather than overwhelms, the
beauty of your illustration, which says to me that you have a good sense of
both your pots and your illustration.

Please continue to post more pics. What a joy it will be to watch your work
evolve. As for blogging, just be you!

Carol,

Your work is really lovely! And the photography showcases your work
very well. I look forward to seeing more.

Carol,

I second everything Lois said, wonderful stuff!

In addition, your photos look great. I don't know how you shot the
pieces without any glare on the decoration. I like that the
enlargements are really big and clear..

The only thing I would wish for is a size reference; I am picturing a
certain scale but I could be way off.

Nice.

They are gorgeous, my critique would be: the Fine Art of "drawing on"
Clay?
I am envious of that kind of 2d talent.
also, I had a hard time finding your name anywhere!
best,
Maggie

Wow
Neat stuff. You've got the detail I'm used to seeing in printed patterns on chinaware. But being unique art drawn on the pot it "fits" (physically and esthetically) unlike a decal cut and crumpled to make it work.
I noticed two pots, one with a sparrow one with a childs face, this begs the pedantic question "Why?"- Following on "fit-ness" what kind of pot "needs" a sparrow? What kind of pot "asks" for a face?
("I like-it like that" is a good answer.
