I am working at the la Meridiana Booth in the exhibition hall at
NCECA. Sorry. Sometimes my fingers are slower than my brain..quite
often actually.
I booked our room at the Omni in July..so I'll be around the clayart
room. Must start sweating the mug exchange.
See everyone there...those who are going.

Marcia Selsor, yes THE Marcia Selsor of all kinds of Clay Fame, said:

It must be so that the Best Potters don't really see themselves as they
are. Marcia's work has been displayed, admired and purchased all over the
world. Her workshops are international in scope, and have been for a long
time now. If you've looked at the pictures of their home in south Texas and
the work that she personally did to give it that Selsor Look (not
that she would
put it that way, of course) you must recognize that she is extremely talented
AND productive. AND An Original...... witness her raku wild horse
platters ...... and
now, she's doing the same for the exotic birds in her new surroundings!!

There aren't enough exclamation points to illustrate my awe!!!!!!!

Marcia, sweetie, what chance do the rest of us ever have of becoming Simply
Good Potters ...... a step up from Just Good Enough......... if YOU sweat the
mug exchange???? Arrrrggghhhh

It just occurred to me that if I were a Marcia Selsor, instead of a mug, I'd
create a small bird raku plaque for NCECA.

In the Mojave desert of California where we had (for us) major rain last night.
...... the first in a long time. Actually, when the wind wasn't gusting, it
was rather a soft, though cold, rain. It's been so long that the Westie forgot
that she loved rain and cried to get in my lap when I suggested we go for
a short walk in the rain...... three behaviors she doesn't
display: crying, wanting
in anybody's lap and ignoring her leash as I joyfully said "walk."
