Hi Phil,
Since you asked on Clayart rather than privately, I'll answer. I did
send the first one back to you for fixing. I think you made a new
trimming part for the handle I had. When I broke the second one while
trimming, I just decided these weren't for me. I didn't contact you
because I figured it was my fault for not making a special case for
the Bison and treating it more carefully.

I know most people love them. I love them too, but my time in the
studio is too hectic as it is, without trying to trouble shoot this
particular problem. I wasn't mad or anything like that. It was just
"oh well.." and back to Dolans. No biggy. I have so many other things
to trouble shoot. It's just a preserving of energy to give up the
quest to "learn to use the Bison".

Clearly you have plenty of satisfied customers who have rallied to
your cause. I'm sure you got some more orders as a result of this
dialogue.

I never said there was something wrong with the tool. I just think it
didn't like co-mingling with my other tools, getting jostled about.
It's clear that the tools require special handling. Nothing wrong
with that. Most people are happy to coddle their Bisons. Just not me!

So happy holidays everyone. I've been out snowshoeing with my kids
and the winter landscape is quite beautiful even after all the rain.
And our new Pug Jack is a real outdoor guy and slogged through the
snow with us for an hour! Not like the sissy girl Pugs we have who
won't leave the couch!
Jennifer
