Putting this on for a good friend who is not on line and is a young potter
who "has done good!" Dan Comte put up a small one man show at Great Bay
Pottery in Rye, NH last week. This followed a succesful first firing of his
"Korean style" 25' anagama over Columbus Day weekend. It was nip and tuck
as we were putting up the chimney with our eyes smarting from the warming
fire in front of the grates. After a five day firing, the pots were simply
beautiful. So if you're in the area, drop by brfore the end of November and
see his stuff at Great Bay. It's pretty neat to see somone follow their
dream and have it come to fruition.

Great Bay Pottery is on Highway 1, South of Portsmouth, just over the town
line of Rye. The address is 150 Layfayette Rd. , Rye, NH (603) 964-1118.

Dan's address is Dan Comte, 32 Cooper Hill Rd., Nottingham, NH 03290
PH (603) 942-1118.
