To accentuate a crackled glaze I heat the piece up and then paint black car=
bon ink on the surface with a brush.=20

Also... You can thin the black ink for a slightly different effect. ..or u=
se red or green ink?

Some people use strong tea to get a lighter effect. Some folks put the piec=
e in a metal pot and boil the tea to hasten the effect.

You can also use finely ground stain...(Masons....or copper carb, Cobalt..=
.etc.) rub it in and then re-fire.
