just and observation:

i bisque fire to cone 08....it is just what i have been stuck on for years...
i ran out of 08's, and fired several batches to 07...
as i was glazing for a firing last week, i could tell that the thickness
of the glaze was not correct...it was driving me nuts. had to leave them
in the bucket for a couple of more seconds....threw off my timing..
actually had a couple of pots run off at the bottoms...stuck down to a
shelf....first time in years...
one cone different in the bisque...drove right over to see em swarthout,
got some 08's....phew what an ordeal.

i can change claybodies, i can change glazes, but i sure hate changing the
temp at which i fire, both bisque and glaze.
mel/mn.
spent the last three days alone in a deer stand...very nice.
no deer/ that is expected.
it gives one time to reflect without the phone, noise and ick.
i like thinking how rich i am in friends and companions.
and how lucky i have been.
