glue for pin frogs and lead

I've found that 5 minute epoxy works great. After the frog is glued
in, check on it in a couple of minutes, because some have the
tendency to kind of slide to the side. Failure rate is close to 0.

I don't know about all pin frogs, but the ones I use are galvanized.
Perhaps someone on the list could tell me whether the lead would be
leached out by water (perhaps with an acid pH because of floral
preservatives) through the galvanized coating.
