Hi Jamie,

I just happenned to catch that..!

Lol...

I dunno, appearently I do have a doppleganger, but I have never met him.

People have been seeing 'me' in places I never was, ever since I can
remember.

Thank goodness 'he' at least seemed indifferent or tolerably polite when
they
did.

If I ever do meet him, ( or meet 'them', since I have no way of knowing how
many there are, ) I plan to slug him, and take his ID.

Could come in handy..!

Or, work something out maybe, for us to team up.

We could swap Girl Friends just for the hell of it, you know, just for a day
or something...then say "Honey, errrr, you seem a little 'different' lately,
is everything okay? No pesky flare-ups of that Capgras Syndrome thing again
I hope?"

I never go to the Casinos though, so...hmmmm...he was playing 'Craps' you
say?

...did he seem to be winning? Having fun regardless?

Golly...at least he has some dough then I suppose...!

Anyway...

Come on by sometime and say hello.

I am Downtown, could not be easier to get to.

Best wishes,

Phil

Greetings from Las Vegas,

Just wanted to thank everyone who has been writing and offering help with
developing a green version of Ron and John's Waterfall Brown glaze. I've
received some great suggestions, a special thanks to Martha Silver, David
Berg, John Hesselberth and Charlotte in VA. I posted a photo of a recent
test on my blog: http://wooditis.blogspot.com/

I still haven't achieved the exact color I'm looking for, but I'm definitely
heading in the right direction. One test that I've done (that achieves the
perfect color) has some pinholes that I can't seem to eliminate. I've
repeated the test four times, each test comes out the same. I consulted
Hamer's book, but I'm not sure what they had to say about pinholing is
applicable. I think the problem is more of an ingredient issue than a
moisture one, especially since it was repeated so many times with the same
defect.

Can anyone offer a suggestion about eliminating pinholes?

with a very interesting fellow, might have been his doppleganger.

Jamie,
Sometimes pinholes are caused by incomplete burn in the bisque. Some glazes I think are more sensitive then others to the burnoff. Try bisqueing to a slightly higher temp or a longer soak at burnout.
