Hi:

You might try Mason Stain #6020 Manganese/Alumina Pink. It's very stable
in slips and is actually used as a claybody stain. It's very refractory
though. If you like the color of Bazooka Bubble Gum, this is the stain for
you.

Thanks Craig and thanks to Meryl, Brenda and=20
Linda who also had some great suggestions.
I have just ordered, among other things some=20
Amaco tube semi-moist underglazes. ( These are=20
the same ones they sell in the little pans=20
like watercolors) ...The pink and=20
rose look pretty intense in the=20
fired samples and they specifically say
"Pink, maroon, peach, rose and yellow hold their=20
color when fired to temperatures up to Cone 6=20
(2269=B0F, 1243=B0C). All other colors may be fired=20
to an upper limit of Cone 10 (2381=B0F, 1305=B0C)=20
with good retention. " so IM taking them at their word. LOL !
Wont be able to test fire till I get=20
back from Louisiana on Sunday but will=20
report back as soon as I get the chance to fire=20
these... and Craig, ILl pick up some of the Mason too...
Beth, Im glad to hear about your good news=20
and what a cool coincidence that my search=20
for a girly-girl pink u/g would be just what you needed ! COOL ! :O)
