I'm fairly new here so I should tell you that I make large platters on which
I impress and then use underglazes and oxides to color my designs. I am
currently firing at cone 6. I have run into some trouble with several clear
glazes either clouding or bleaching out my iron stains (from the calcium in
the glazes I think). Has anyone on the list found a cone 6 transparent
glaze without these drawbacks? Even if the glaze has some color, but is
clear, that would be preferable.
