Hello, Maxine,

Here's what I know: your clayart subscription seems to be in order...
you are subscribed with normal, default settings. That is, you are
set up to receive individual messages (not a digest).

Also, I have checked the last five "Daily Monitoring Reports" which
lists accounts with delivery issues, and your address is not among
them.

Now... I know that there are people who will swear that clayart's
listserv is evil, lame, bush, etc., and I know that many people using
yahoo email addresses have reported problems with receiving clayart
reliably and consistently.

But so far, in the five days that I've been researching problems and
cleaning things up, I have found nothing that cannot be explained
logically or that would implicate the listserv software.

There have been hardware issues, including viruses and periods when
the machine was not responsive. But that wouldn't explain the
problem you're reporting.

But that doesn't mean that it's impossible that clayart's listserv
has problems, only that I've not found one yet. If/when I do find
something, I'll report it and attempt to fix it.

Also, Mel has been saying for some time that clayart and yahoo don't
get along very well.

So where does that leave us (we're in this together, Maxine)? The
only things I can suggest checking are the potential weak spots after
things leave the listserv on their way to you. I haven't used Yahoo
mail in several years, so I can't say how their spam filtering works
or looks, but it's possible that Yahoo is considering some clayart
messages to be spam. Just a guess, but it's worth checking.

If you have any ideas, questions, or other info, let me know, okay?

Let that be a lesson to all you whiners out
there...mmmmmmwwwwwwwaaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaaa!

Regards,
Maurice

Until the summer, I was getting atleast 25 emails a day on the Clay Art Listserve.
Now I have days when I don't get any or if I do its only 2 or 3 - has the Clay Art conversation completely slowed down or has the computer somehow gone awry Part of what tipped me off is when I emailed you "Grand Opening Tucson Clay Co-op" - it never came to me. Anyway let me know what's up - thanks Maxine

PS I used to complain about deleting so many messages, now I miss them.
