Speaking of beauty, I visited Bob Briscoe and Will Swanson at the
Uptown Art Fair yesterday, during the last day of the fair. THey
were on a nice grassy boulevard, not on the main drag. It was great
to see them again. Photos do neither of their work justice! You
have to hold it and/or walk around it.

Beside some rust colored pots in Bob's display were a couple
of rust colored pears. I had to pick them up and smell them to make
sure they were real, their color and texture was so close to the pots
they sat by. A woman from the neighboring boot told me, "Those pears
are real!" I said, "I know, I picked them up and smelled them!

In my brochure I speak about how in pottery, you can bring
elements of nature and culture together, to be used in the home.
