ezcube and building a new website

Well, I dug through the archives and read a bit about light tents, especially on the ezcube. Last night, I spent the $90 and bought the 30" ezcube. I figured I don't need the lighting set up, since I have the hooded lamps, just need to get the light bulbs.

I bought it off ebay, through the ezcube company. I also looked at the others offered. My main agenda was quality. The main feature I liked was the removable top and double zippers.

Also, I've been working on a new website. So far I only have the homepage up. You can check it out at www.potteryguy.biz I wanted something easy to use and to get around. I'll add more when I can. Let me know what you think.

I went with the new name since I wanted something easy to remember and easy to find. Also, right now I have no way of getting a hold of the company where my original name, clearcreekpottery.com is registered through. I'll just wait until it expires and buy it again through my new server.

Hey Steve,
Just curious why you say you'll wait until it expires and repurchase it.
First of all you have no guarantee you'll be first to purchase. If someone
is using a service like "Snap Names" and wants clearcreekpottery.com they
could snatch it from you. A Whois enquiry gives contact information for
the registrar as

I would think you could contact alldomains.com and renew through them.
I've seen people lose their domain names this way before and would not it
to happen to you.

Good start on the website by the way and you'll find the ezcube is great.
I just purchased one myself and am enjoying it.

If you want to keep your name , do not let it expire. Mine expired 2 days
when I was switching providers and some one in India grabbed up
mudduckpottery.com. Now they want to sell it back to me for 10,000 dollars.
I told then they could keep it and they have for 3 years.

Steve,
You won't get it. The domain squatters have software that will buy it the
very second it goes back "on sale". You have to set up a transfer through
your preferred registrar or try to renew through alldomains as Jim pointed
out.
