Hi all,
We have an openning here at the Nottingham Studios for a ceramist.
Nottingham Center for the Arts is an artist cooperative with the
addition of a non profit entity: Nottingham Center for the Arts.
As such we provide the place for other arts / crafts groups to hold
meetings, events, and workshops here at our dedicated place.
Some of these include The Ceramic Artists of San Diego, The Association
of Glass Artists of San Diego, and the San Diego Woodturning Association
among others.

The studio residency is a 400 sq.ft. studio for a ceramist with full
access to all our shops and facillities. These include: Brent and
Bailly slab rollers, soldner mixer, Skutt electric kiln, West Coast 30
cu. ft. kiln, Halverson 40 cu. ft. car kiln, 30 cu. ft. Alpine Kiln for
unuesual fireings, salt kiln, raku kilns, a complete glase room, and
much more.

We have a fully equiped hot glass shop, complete wood working shop, tool
rooms, and hardware shop.

The studio resident would pay $ 250 / month rent plus utilities and give
4 hours / week in helping out at the art center.

This person would set up their studio and help manage the ceramics
facillities here.

For a ceramist who is wanting unlimited space, we are on four acres of
industrial land. and facillity to develope their work in just about any
direction; this is the place.

Please pass on this to anyone who might know of someone who is at this
stage of their developement and wants to be a part of a very active arts
scene.

Yours,
Terry Sullivan
