a crystal moment in time in the studio

This isn't really clay related here, but it happened in Stretch's
Gallery.Friday, I'm waiting for hubby to pick me as I finished putting
things away. In the back room where the sink is, a HUGE wasp was flying
around. It was the size of a cat, fer real! Didn't go back there, being
the fraidy cat. I've been stung by one of those things. I don't derive
pleasure from pain like that. The next morning, I am in the gallery
again, opening it up and getting it ready for studio time. No sign of
the mega wasp.I look in the sink. It's the kind where there a pipe
extended up from the drain to keep clay and glaze from clogging up the
pipes. There, on the water's edge, still alive, the wasp is clinging to
the wall, his wing dragged down by the water. I took a cup, scooped him
up, take him outside to the back, pour him out on the pavement and ran
like hell.I'm 46 years old and a fraidy cat to boot. The sun is
dispersing the rainy clouds. An hour later, I cautionsly go check. It's
gone. Kissing the eyebrows of the Great Spirit is really nice. Kathryn
