Tom,

That's an interesting bit if info. Are you sure? Newton Poppleford is
not very near the sea. Maybe they were ship builders in another town
nearer the sea in the past.

There is a Woodley's Joinery in Newton Poppleford. I've tried to
contact them about the wheel but the email address and website links
I've found, don't work.

Mine is a Woodley as well and the only thing battleship grey is the
wooden splash pan. the rest is maybe mahogany. I don't know much about wood.

I've attached some pics but you can see all of them near the bottom of
this page.

I had to take mine apart to get it through the door of the studio. These
are really solidly built.
