fine resist lines

Some time ago there was an article in PMI (I think) about using draftsmen's
ruling pens for either resist or stain.

These pens are not pens really, but look like stork or heron beaks on a
short holder. The "beak"'s opening is regulated by a small screw
that,narrows or widen the gap.

I got several and they are very nice to work with--but take some getting
used to.

Look under drafting supplies on Internet.

Hi Lili,

I use this tool too and find it good for drawing fine lines in underglaze as
well. They are great. Pearl carries them, as I am sure most art supply stores
do.
