Further to the discussion of what's in a name I forgot
to mention that our friend Joanne in nearby St.
Cathearines, Ontario invites a # of us potters to her
pottery named "Down to Earth" for her annual seconds
sale. We save up all our so what pots and go there to
sell them . Sheila is usually home within an hour with
about $1500 in her pocket. People are waiting for her
and buy as she unloads the car.
Joanne now makes more money selling Crocks (the shoes)
than she does selling pottery. A sign of the times.
