The dat I va gives the Seger of this material as:
Formula weight 349.7
CaO 0.03; MgO 0.03; K2O 0.03; Na2O 0.02; Fe2O3 0.02; TiO2 0.07; Al2O3 1.0;
SiO2 3.30.
Converting this to percentages by weight yields:
CaO 0.5% MgO 0.3% K2O 1.0% Na2O 0.3% Fe2O3 0.8% TiO2 1.9% Al2O3 32.3% SiO2
62.8% The Loss on ignition can be estimated from the Formula weight above,
or by difference assuming the proper total is 100% (not always so in a
chemical analysis).
