wrist problems

I don't know if there is a formula for avoiding wrist problems, and I do
know at least one production potter and one ceramic sculptor who have had
to deal with the painful reality of carpal tunnel. I don't have CT but I do
have hyper-extended tendons, which cause the bones in my wrists to float
about uncomfortably until I snap them back into place. Angela Fina gave me
a very simple 'treatment' for this problem several years ago, and since
that time whenever I have to wedge or throw I tape my wrists with athletic
tape bought from the drugstore. It makes all the difference in the world.

Tricia in PA - just back from visiting the Philadelphia Craft Show - great
pots, wonderful to see old friends.
