I am trying to find out about ceramic workshops or schools that do such
things throughout the year... ie 4 day - 2 or 3 week intensives.
Does anyone have suggestions. I am looking for such things in the northeast
US , southwest U.S., Northwest US, Florida, Eastern or Western Canada,
Mexico.... thats a pretty wide range... if anyone has any suggestions please
e-mail me back.

Does anyone have experience with Horizons - The New England Craft program or,
Haystack mountain school of crafts?

Email Joanne Wise at
Joanne.H.Wise@VALLEY.NET
and ask to be put on the mailing list for North Country Studio Conference,
a workshop conference held at Bennington College. It is 5 days long and the
next one will be held February of 1999. There are a whole range of
different craft workshops available.

Let me suggest searching the Arts Discovery Workshop Database at
http://www.artscape.com/discovery/ There are not as many ceramics workshops
listed now as there were earlier this year (people haven't submitted their
1998 calendars yet, even though '97 is half over!), but there's still a
good number...

Hello:

There will be a workshop with Peter Volkus and Peter Callus this year at the
University of Central Florida on Nov. 13 & 14. The price for nonstudents is
going to be $150.00 for the 2 days I believe. More information will be
forthcoming. You may also want to check Stetson Univ. they also have
workshops in Central Florida throughout the year.
