Clayarters,
I had the very great privilege and pleasure of jurying, with Irina Okula, an
exhibition of ceramics by emerging artists at Vessels Gallery in Boston,
which opened this past weekend. There are some very impressive works there
by young, and not-so-young, clayworkers who are about to hit the scene.
Anyone in the area who wants to take in some new clay should stop in and
have a look. Vessels Gallery is in the South Bay area of Boston, 1636
Washington St.
Their website is http://www.vesselsgallery.com and you can see some of the
pieces there.
At least one of clayart's own is in the exhibition, Elizabeth Cohen of
Wellesley, MA.
Thanks very much,
Richard Aerni
