I agree with Bill.
Bill your own to the size you need.
You can get fiber off ebay. I spray mine with ITC. Make buttons from
raku clay for attaching the fiber to a mesh.
There were some good instructions in several places. You need some
kanthal wire to attach fiber, a few little nuts, bolts, and washers
for bolting the form into shape.
I built one last fall using a mesh from Home depot that I like better
than hardware fabric which I have used previously.
I got my burners from marc Ward.
My burner system costs about $470 for 2 burners that hook up to 4
tanks. I can fire 2 kilns or one very large one with these.
Tanks were $260 for 2 new 40 gallon tanks filled. I have to buy two
new ones for the second burner and bigger kiln.
Fiber was $168
Hardware about $20
ITC I had but costs about $140 gallon /pre diluted. It iasts a long
time.
I already had tongs, safety aprons, gloves and mask.

ITC for $140.00 a gallon? Get off it! Absolutly crazy! Why? Ins-Tuff
from HW for $35.00 a gallon that will do the same and better than ITC!

Frank,
I don't know what HW is, but ITC coated plywood can but built into a
kiln and fired. It has been demonstrated at NCECA.
My gallon of ITC has coated over 5 kilns and I still have half of it
left.
I'd say it goes a long way. I coated some gas kilns with it as well
as lids of electrics and my four raku kilns.
The budget below includes material for building more kilns and a very
sweet burner system from Ward Burner custom built for my request of a
2 tank hookup per burner.
I got the ITC years ago for $127/gal. and it is still going strong. I
swear by it.
