cool tools?

Oooowee, I think I just stumbled on something neat. I've had a used,
pawn-shop-find hand tool for a while that I thought might be one of those
things you'd use to press in the rubber spline on a window screen...except
it's much heavier duty than it needs to be for that. So I got curious and
Googled EVERHARD Canton, OH USA...which is all that I could find on the head
of the tool I have. Turns out it has something to do with repairing
tires....putting in patches and such...AND the company has a whole slew of
differently shaped heavy rollers that look as though they'd work great in
clay as well. Have a look for yourself...

Patrick, you have inadvertently discovered our own
Hank Murrow's "Hank's Roller Tool"!
Looking at the website, I don't think I can resist ordering
a "butt splicer"!!!

Dear David and Patrick;

Look carefully at the roller tools............. in working with the
Everhard Co, they helped me come up with a single yoke design with a
zinc plated steel roller, so the yoke doesn't interfere with the rim
of the pot while rolling a foot, and it won't rust. Great folks to
work with........... and reasonable if you order 48 of them at a
time. Not in their catalog though. Trouble is....... you will want a
RingBat to make it all work slickly.

Cheers, Hank, and thanks for the plug!

Wow, what a cool site, but for the life of me I could not find a price
list! Does anyone know how much these tools cost, and if we can order
like one of each or does it have to be a business ordering in large
quanitites????

There are a quite a few that I would like to purchase!!

I was especially struck by the 'butt splicer'. Now there's a name for a
tool.
