wood-fired bisque?

Hello all you wood-fired people. I have a question. Has anyone fired their
bisque in their wood kiln? I know the old-timers always did their firing
with saggars and it didn't bother them about wood ash. We are forced to
twice fire some pots and would like to use our wood kiln but worry about
ash and reduction altering the bisque.

We are using a white stoneware that goes to cone 10 at maturity. It is very
white. It is called Dillo white and is from Armadillo Clay in Austin,
Texas. We are bisque firing to cone 06, then we will clear glaze the
insides and fire with wood for wood ash glaze.

Thanks for the help.
