Are there any Clayart members near Seoul? Or friends of potters in the Seoul
area?

I'm planning to do a bit of pottery hunting in Korea from April 20-27. On
this trip I'll generally be near Seoul, and will probably make a brief visit
to Icheon.

I'll also be making a trip to Japan and would be interested in meeting
potters in the Kanto area, Mashiko/Kasama, or Aomori.

I'm looking for rustic-contemporary teaware, drinking ware (sake, soju etc),
and dinnerware. Possibly some decorative pieces, but it's not a big focus.
I'll be planning some orders probably meant to ship after September, for
YuzuMura.com. My goal is to find a few interesting designs of artisanal
production ware and some show-off pieces.

If you know anyone who might have a few moments to spare and show off their
work, please let me know. Thanks.

Mashiko Tokiichi starts on April 28 500 booths usually with more than
one potter to a booth.

I sent a copy of your e-mail to a cousin in Korea. He may have someone
contacting you through this list.
