i ran into a couple in new york city...they have built one of these
kilns from a skutt 10/27.
they love it...in fact the gal hugged me for about ten minutes.

she said that gas/electric kiln has changed their life.
they live in the city...and could never have a gas kiln.
so.
it is a dandy.

and bob anderson has used one for a couple of years.
get greats results in his back yard.
but, he knows kilns...and how to fire them.

i keep on saying...what a neat home kiln.
fire bisque in electric, use it for cone 6 oxy and
then fire a load of cone 11 copper red reduction.
it will look just like tom coleman and the photo from
geil...but, you must not let these kilns cool too fast.
hold them back..use a blanket of kaowool, or down fire.
easy....just light the gas for a half hour. at 1900F
