Have your friend read my Clay Times column, "Dancing About
Architecture"in the November/December, 2006 issue.

I spend a couple of hours reading through the Clayart archives
as research before writing the article, and give concrete tips
and examples for writing an artist's statement.

I've been asked by a potter friend who is not on-line for help updating and
revising his vita & artist statement. He is a long-time production potter who
is hoping to expand into conducting some workshops and is expanding his facility
to allow him to take in more students. I've been doing some looking on web
sites for examples to share with him. If any ClayArters would be willing to
share their vita or artist statement - off list, please - that would be very
helpful.

If you are willing to share, please send your examples to

sbeach at iquest dot net

Thanks.
