wipe oxides into crazing!!!!

I think that maybe this comment inadvertantly left out an important part. After
you wipe on the oxide(s), you need to re-fire the piece to maturity to have any
hope that the oxides might get tied up in the glass matrix. Or limit this trick
to purely sculptural pieces.

Left in unfired form in the craze lines, the oxides will tend to come out into
any liquid contained in a vessel treated in this manner.
