Julie -

I do not have any of my old wholesale brochures, but they were very simple.
There are many levels of wholesale involvement, and mine was a very direct,
small, personal involvement - no reps, no trade shows, just direct contact
between myself and my retailiers within a 300-mile radius of my former home
in Northern California. My wholesale brochure was nothing more than a
well-writen discription and wholesale pricelist with a brief statement of
wholesale terms. On the pricelist I had done neat little profile drawings
of all the items I make, to scale, and I always included some nice glossy
3x5 or 4x6 glossy photos of some of the wares. Since I visited all my
wholesale customers at least once a year to show them new items, I did not
really need a fancy wholesale brochure. If you are going to do trade shows
or good wholesale craft shows then you will be dealing with retailers
located all over the place, and may need something more. I never wanted to
get into that kind of market, and was quite happy with the way my system
worked for the ten years I was in the biz full-time.

Vince,

Sounds very much like what I was leaning toward. I'm only thinking of
dealing with two local shops right now. I don't have the facilities or time
to do much more.

Julie,

I have some experience with graphic art so if you need some work done, I'll
gladly trade for supplies, advice, or a little money.

tell me more of what you want and I'll see if I can help you.

I can scan photos and include it or I can take snapshots from video tape.

I have very reasonable rates. whatever you need I can help.

just let me know and I might be able to just attach it to an e-mail

I hope to hear from you,

Carl

Thanks, Carl, but I think that my conclusion after receiving all your posts
is that I'll word process a very simple brochure and sketch each item for
sale. Since my potential market is very local I'll present the real pots
for their inspection with the brochure when I call on them.

If this is successful, then I may be ready for some classier stuff.
