wheels wobble but they don't fall down...

I have this funky 2-speed table top wheel I bought VERY used several years
ago. You turn on low, off or on high. That's it. It sits up on concrete
blocks and is encased in a big plastic molded scrub-green splash pan that
won't accomodate bats larger than 12-1/2 inches. It has a definite "tick" to
it; the head is slightly loose, and at times the whole darn thing threatens
to leave its concrete perch and fling itself onto the floor. Yet somehow this
wheel turns out the nicest looking pots.
Beats me how ...

Is it more pathetic that you remembered that jingle or that so many of
us out in clayartland recognized it too (and were just waiting for
someone to use it just the way you did). The TV generation.
We're datestamped by the commercials we remember. Sigh.<<

Hi Richard.
LOL. Yes, I s'pose it is rather pathetic that that jingle chose to rear its
dated head now -- and to such a large audience! How many other 'arters share
this noted memory?

Looking for my wobblin' wheel to stamp me as a potter! :-)
