Hi Louise,

You won't need any help to find galleries and pottery in Carmel. Just
about any street you walk down has great galleries. If you're also into
sculpture check out the artisans coop and the Highland galleries and
don't miss Bennett Sculpture. God I wish I was going back there for a
week.

Have a great time.

Paul

Louise -
Lots of wonderful things in Carmel. Can't remember the name of the gallery,=
but
there is one on the main street, on the right side if you were walking away =
from
the beach that is nice. I went there specifically to see James Lovera's =
pots.
Not all were on display, so when you find this gallery with a few of his =
pieces
out, ask to see the rest. Some of the more beautiful (IMHO) were in the
cabinets. His work there was predominently Japenese inspired bowl shapes =
with
WONDERFUL glazes. While you're there, stop by the gourmet grocery by the =
Pebble
Beach Lodge (10 minutes away from Carmel) and try their truffle mousse =
patte.
Mmmmmmm. Have a good time=21=21=21
