Someone wrote for interesting raku glazes, but I lost
his e-mail address. I have a very interesting "Black
Velvet Lichen " raku glaze that a friend wants to "trade"
for some other interesting raku glazes.

You can e-mail me at efusaro@math.fsu.edu.

Hi,
I am very interested in your raku glaze. The following is one I use most of
the time. It is a modification of the Copper Sand receipe I received from
Gordon Hutchins in Canada.
Gerstley Borate 436 g
Bone Ash 145g
Copper Carb 28g
Cobalt Oxide 14g

Reduce lightly - 1-2 pieces of newspaper if you want colors - reduce a lot if
you copper penny.

Beth,
Sorry, I didn't send a glaze formula to trade! Here is one :
20.00 Bone Ash
80.00 Gerstley Borate

add: 1.30 Tin Oxide
5.00 Copper Carbonate
2.50 Cobalt Oxide

This is called Hawaiian Copper Blue. Fired to cone 06.
