Thanks for posting the recipe. A couple of questions:

What exactly (or approximately) is the "very long firing range" for
Larry's Black? And could you give a hint as to what percentage "a touch"
of chrome oxide might be? Many thanks--

Elizabeth,
I guess I should have been more specific. The cone 10 version of Larry's
Black looks pretty much the same from ^8 to ^11. Don't know about the ^5
version but it's probably fine from ^4 to ^7 or so.
As to how much is "a touch" of chrome oxide- 2 to 4% should be fine. In
oxidation, the chrome tended to make it a slightly greenish black, which I
found unpleasant, but in reduction it seemed to help with a little crystal
development, and didn't turn it green. It's sort of like asking what's the
right amount of cream to put into coffee- depends on how you like it.
