terra cotta finish

I use a mix of clear glaze and wax resist (the water based latex kind)
something like 50 - 50 or 60-40 percents. Then brush it on and fire.
This gives a very subtle sheen that does not look like a glaze at all.

Ann :

What kind of clear glaze do you recommend? Will a commercial (Duncan,
Gare, etc.,...) ^ 06 clear work or should it be a clear glaze that matures at
^ 04-^03 as the terra cotta body does.
