slides, what goes on the label

In the USA at least, the Library of Congress has recently(?) established
a standard for what goes on slide labels, where the label goes, and so
on. I don't remember where I put the notice with the details but our
local art association decided to adopt this standard so I assume that
at some point the software mfgrs will offer it as part of their product.

The only thing I remember is that you were supposed to mark the upper
right corner with a red dot, which I found really peculiar, since the
red dot is international art language for "SOLD" and I was using red
dots to mark slides of pots that were sold. But no more...
