To all Clayarters:
On Thursday, May 1, 1997, My business partner and I recieved our new
Shimpo Wheels. Not only could I not get the wheel head off, but am now in
the processs of returning them both. When I called Shimpo about the
problem they told me to take a crobar to it. I don't own a crobar so I
took the boards it was mounted on in shipping and put them between the
wheel head and the frame and beat on the boards with a mallet. It came
off. I put on my splash pan and thought thank GOD!! It wasn't over with, I
got clay and started to throw. It made such an afful noise, and jerked
around so much I couldn't center. The wheel head even stoped when I would
push down and I was only using 10 lbs. of clay. This machine is suppose to
handle 50 lbs. can you imagine? The point to all this is, I am sending
mine back, and am reordering Brents. I really wanted the Shimpo Silver,
but can't get one new. I am encourageing all of you who are having
problems with your new wheels, to SEND THEM BACK. The company needs to
know that we are unhappy with this design. To all of you on the other day
with this problem, I emphithise. JR Alpine, TX It's HOT today.
