This weekend, Feb. 8 &9, Seward Park Art Studio will be offering a mold
making workshop by Carol Guthro. The workshop covers basic techniques to
fabricate press molds, slump molds, and simple two-part casting molds.
Information covered includes mixing plaster correctly, how to create
prototypes out of clay and other materials. Each participant can make a mold
during the workshop. Bring one leather-hard clay prototype, no bigger than
8" in any direction, with no undercuts. Call (206)722-6342 for more info and

NOTE: I've taken this workshop and thought it was great. Carol is a
wonderful teacher and I came away from this workshop confident that I could
make ANY mold that I wanted to. I highly recommend this workshop. Diane
