I will shortly be taking a holiday in South West Ireland.
Anyone know of potteries that would be worth visiting?

TIA

John, on the Dingle Peninsula in Western Ireland is a pottey with
beautiful work. The potter's name is Louis Mulcahy. His pottery label
just gives his name and "Dingle Peninsula" as the address. The Dingle
Peninsula is gorgeous and a must-see. There are little beehive huts,
built entirely of stone with no morter of any kind. They have stood there
since the 7th or 8th century; little homes that anonymous people built,
lived in on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, and left as evidence that they
were there. It is very touching to visit these in the midst of fields.
The Irish rural countryside is spectacular and the people are delightful.
Enjoy your visit. Jeni
