Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that Ruthanne Tudball will be giving a 2 day
workshop in Westminster Colorado on March 22 and 23 from 10 to 4 each day.
The fee is $75.00 for both days. Ruthanne is the author of "Soda Glazing"
and the workshop will have demonstrations and discussion on soda firing as a
non-polluting alternative to salt.
Westminster is close to both Boulder and Denver so it's easy to find us. For
information you can call (303)460-9690 ext 24, or e-mail me directly or send
your check to NU Pottery, P.O. Box 44, Erie, CO 80516.

I hope to see some of you there.

Thanks Nancy

For anyone who has the opportunity to take
Ruthannes workshop I would highly recommend it.
A wonderful person and potter, beautiful pots.
Its a treat to see her throw and assemble a
teapot in one sitting at the wheel
and her facet and expand work has such freedom and flow.

She is also of course of font of knowledge on soda firing.

I like deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound of them
as they go flying by.

As I sit here at the computer, I look up and see a piece of Ruthanne
Tudball's pottery that I bought at her workshop last year. It was a great
workshop. Just wish I had gotton then earlier so that I could have bought the
piece that really caught my eyes. Oh, well.

I would go to another of her workshops if she is coming out this way (LA
County, CA). Does anyone know?

Thanks

Thanking her lucky stars that my client in cold New Jersey decided that it
was too soon to start the project and realizing that I may be back there very
soon to start a project for another client. Guess I just have to enjoy warm
days and flowers blooming in January while I can.
