runny glaze needed

Am still mixing glazes and find I now need a very runny ^6 ox clear glaze
that will readily accept stains, you know, the kind no one really likes
because you have to stay at least an inch away from the foot of the pot and
one that will run on matt and not be absorbed by it. TIA

Also thanks for the black glaze receipes, am firing them now and will report
back what we got. One thing I will say is the "Red pink to Purple Mauve"
turned out great. It is more of a deep red-violet. Receipe as follows for
^6: Gerstley-21, Neph Syn-16, Kaolin (Iused EPK)-11, Whiting-20, Silica-32
and added Tin Ox-5 and Chrome Ox-.5 I did not find it purple when applied
thick but happy with it as it is. I"ll mess with it and keep trying. This
was fired in elect on dillo white clay.

pit fire.

try useing 65% volcanic ash, 35% gerstly borate. This is a very fluid glaze,
but does not run off the pot. It works very well over matt glazes. Good
luck. Reg>----------------------------Original

Hi Sunny and Warm Lori,
Sorry, I missed the original info. Could you please let me know if
your Red pink to Purple Mauve is an oxidation or reduction cone 6. Thanks.
