Fellow Mudpie Makers:
When I was studying at University, I made a number of glazes with the =

I'd like to use some of those glazes, only I cannot find any supplier for
=22powdered glass.=22 Has anyone else used this before? Could it be listed=

Also, for all those who gave me such wonderful advice on my kiln stalling

Jules,

I have used powdered glass. I don't know where to buy any, but it is
not too difficult to turn glass into powder if you have a ball mill.
First you have to smash it with a hammer, and then it grinds down fairly
easily. For small amounts I've done it with a mortar and pestle.

For glass I've mainly used beer bottles. Once I separated them into
clear, brown, and green, but in colored glazes it didn't seem to make
any difference.

Good luck,
Nikom
