Fellow mudlovers:

I'd like to speak with someone from Pittsburgh area to find out what the art
scene is like, the climate, school system, economy and.....racial demography.
If you don't care to contact me through the group, try either e-mail address:
nmaa.jan@ic.si.edu or nmaa.janathel@ic.si.edu.

I'll be going to Pittsburgh in early May. Are there any
galleries, museums, potters, etc. (within 30 miles or so)
that are musts?

Neal

I've heard so many great things about P'burgh since the last time I was
there that I'm going if I have to get my own bus. Is it possible for you
to come to the desert, Lori, on your way, that is....... I could meet you
in Death Valley and we could all go to the Opera House. Shoot, I could
even go through Pahrump and join your groupies in Vegas.

I'm figuring that by March I'll be back to my usual tottering self which was
my condition during the last few clay events I attended. If that's as good
as it gets, I'll take it..... happily.

Things are looking up.... I have a new physical therapy group which is a
wonderment!! It pays to keep looking......

In the Mojave desert of California where it sounds as if the sheriff and the
local police department have joined the highway patrol coming down our
dirt road with sirens so loud they're drowning out Pat's canon .... must go
see......

Hi, I learned that some folks wonder about proximity to the D. Lawrence
Convention Center in Pittsburgh.

I have a reservation at the Marriott Courtyard. Shaken by Wayne's
post, I checked with
them just now. They are right across the street! They have a
shuttle to the
hotel where Clayart room is until 11 p.m. (I hope) If I can't part
from my pals,
I could maybe get a cab.

I have no idea if they have any rooms left. I really hope to see
you all.

Bacia

Hi Bacia, it is good to hear from you. I was away in India and I don't
think I will be going to Pittsburgh. Liz is but I don't know whether she
would be driving, probably.
Hope you are doing well and are you still working hard?
At this point I plan to go to NCECA in 2009.
