DeAnza College will again host it's annual primitive firing at the Havstad
Ranch in Aromas California. To participate you must register for Arts 50
during the Spring Quarter. Call Bill at 408 864-8378 if you need more
information. The initial meeting will take place Saturday April 20 at 9:00
A.M. in A-51 (Clay DeAnza). $30.00 will be collected on the 20th for food
and fuel. Get your work started now.

4:00 pm Saw dust kiln construction and firing
4:00 pm Paper Kiln Construction and loading
7:00 pm Pot luck community dinner

9:00 am Pit construction (digging, loading,
firing) Backhoe style
12:30 pm Lunch
1:30 pm Raku firing, dung firing, paper kiln
6:30 pm Community dinner
8:30 pm Raku demonstration

9:30 am Camp cleanup and breakdown
12:00 noon Community lunch
1:00 to 4:00 pm Pit unloading and work critiques
