There are several authors who make cursory references and brief allusions to
the process that interests you. Maybe these will help:

"Ceramics and Print" by Paul Scott, Chapter Seven (Direct photographic
emulsions), published in 1995.

"Claywork" by Leon I. Nigrosh, Chapter Eight (Adapting Commercial Decoration
Techniques) published in 1986.

John W. Conrad's "Contemporary Ceramic Techniques", Chapter Seven (Ceramic
Silkscreen Printing) published in 1979, and "Low Fire: Other Ways to Work In
Clay", Chapter 16 (Photo Clay) published in 1980.
