Michelle Lowe -

I will be in Phoenix in May - my husband has a convention. I'll have some
time to explore on my own and I'd appreciate any tips of good galleries and
potteries to check out.

Thanks a bunch!

The Heard Museum, downtown. And in Scottsdale, Hand and Spirit
Gallery..for sure...

Help me out anyone with more ideas? I remember recently someone posted a
list of Phoenix things going on...I'll scope out the possibilities and get
back with more for you Lisa...

Also, if you are interested, you are welcome to come out to our place and
see my humble studio :)

More Phoenix sites include Art One on Marshall Way in Scottsdale; Nelson Art
Museum at Az. State U in Tempe; Matthews Center also on ASU campus has a very
large collection on continuous display of pots ranging from early American
salt-fired crocks to Maria, Voulkos, Natzler and many many more. The Pueblo
Grande Museum in Phoenix has some Hohokam and other local extinct native amer.
work -- call all of these for more details.

Have fun.
