people who paint pottery

Don,

Okay, I concede that people who paint pottery should make it clear to their
buyers that the pottery is, in fact, not 'tried by fire'. But I still don't
expect the art police to show up at my door if I should, for what ever
incomprehensible reason, choose sometime to paint one of my pieces. I'm for
quality, but I'm also for freedom. We don't want to be censored--let's not
censor others. I repeat--they have every right to do whatever they want
with their pottery, so long as they don't try to deceive the public, and so
long as they don't start koshing people over the head with their heavier
vases.
