Regina Brown, NCECA Executive Secretary, asked me to clear up a few things
about membership and conference.

NCECA membership runs from the spring conference up to the next conference.
Conference fee includes membership. If you choose to join now, you will get
whatever back publications are still available from this year, and be put on
the mailing list for the NCECA News. You do not need to join now though to
register for the Las Vegas conference.

Information and posters with registration forms will be mailed out in early
December. You can contact Regina by phone or mail to be put on the mailing
list for conference info. If you are a member you will automaticly be
mailed this information.

Reggie also mentioned that the Ceramic Program Guide is no longer for sale,
the Ceramic Assignments book is sold out, but another one will be compiled
next year. The 2nd edition of Monona Rossol's "Making Clay Work Safe and
Legal" about health hazards in ceramics is still available. Contact Reggie
for info.

The ceramic programs project that I started last year is still in limbo. I'm
waiting for an o.k. on a site on a free site for it. Details about the
platform will influence software used for getting the database up and
running and onto the web. Hopefully by NCECA Las Vegas.
