Re housing for NCECA

Hello Louis, Do you know if the Radisson and the Ramada are adjacent to the
Worthington? Neither one is in my C.A.A. book (A.A.A. in U.S.) for Fort
Worth. Must be close by if there is programming at all three hotels? Liz

Dear Liz,
The Radisson sits in between the Worthington and the Ramada, it is about
0.3 miles between the Radisson and Worthington, and about 0.5 miles between
the Radisson and the Ramada. The Keynote will be held at the convention
center which is inbetween the Ramada and the
Radisson.

Worthington------------0.3miles-------Radisson-------0.5miles---------Ramada

BTW my map shows a Days Inn and the Remmington Hotel also near the
Convention center. The Ramada is two or three blocks from the Amtrak
Station, The Radisson is near the Greyhound/Trailways Station. There is a
free shuttle downtown , but I have not taken it.
Maps to the hotels will probably come with the conference pack after you
register, but if you are itchy you can get maps online at:
http://maps.yahoo.com/yahoo/, which BTW is where I got the distances from.

We would all like it better if the conference was in one location. It would
make everybodies life easier, but more expensive. Renting space would
significantly raise the costs of the conference, finding a hotel with
enough space for the whole conference is getting harder as we grow. We
walked around downtown Fort Worth when we met there in May, and there was
lots to see and do in the area around the hotels. There will be shows in
the area, and the water gardens are near the Ramada. The Worthington is
about 0.3 miles from Heritage park.
