NCECA is sponsoring another of the biennial juried Clay National shows. It
will be presented at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Barrick Museum Feb.
21- April 11, 1997 in conjunction w/the NCECA annual conference in Las Vegas

DONNA NICHOLAS (Artist and educator. Donna has been involved with the
Japanese women's ceramic group, and has taught at Edinboro U. in Pennsylvania. )
ROBIN HOPPER (Artist, author, educator. Robin is well known for his
excellent books and videos, as well as his functional pottery work).
MARK MASUOKA, Director, NV Inst. for Contemporary Art, Las Vegas.
Free to current NCECA members. If you'd like to join, membership is $40.00
regular, $25 student, and includes NCECA publications (directory, newletter,
journal of the annual conference events). Contact Reggie as above.
Non-members: $20.00 entry fee.
Open to national and international NCECA members and artists 18 and older
residing in the US. Work must have been completed in the last 2 years. Up to
2 works may be submitted. In mixed media pieces, clay must be the dominant
NCECA publishes a fine catalog of this show, and that as well as the
conference assures great exposure for selected artists. Shimpo will again
sponsor a purchase award.
